Bongani Masondo is reportedly leaving SABC1 drama series Skeem Saam after the end of the current firth season.
The 33-year-old actor has decided not to renew his contract, which is up at the end of the season. He plays the role of Mangaliso, best known as Baby Maker.
Bongani told Sowetan on Wednesday (June 21) to announce the news his fans.
“A lot of things have been happening in the past season and I was not really happy. My character was featured in almost every part of the storyline and I didn’t complain about that. When we had to talk about renewing contracts at the end of the season in March, I asked my agent to negotiate a higher salary, they (the producers) refused,” Bongani said in an interview with Sowetan.
